A two hour workshop of deep listening and drawing the sounds of Broomfield Park with Harriette Meynell, multi-disciplinary artist.

The aim of this workshop is for participants to really listen to their surroundings and uncover the depth and range of sounds the park produces.

Some participants might find the process relaxing and meditative, and it could provide a listening approach that might be useful to them in other settings.

Expect a walk to several locations in the park with some listening and drawing. Please bring a folding chair if required.

No experience necessary. All drawing materials will be provided. Wear clothes suitable for the weather as this workshop is outside (rain makes great sounds!). Bring your phone and if you have any other portable recording equipment/ microphones, bring that too to capture local sounds if you wish.
