Art is ... Expressing Yourself

Exhibition from Friends of Broomfield Park community art sessions

“Art is ... Expressing yourself.” is an exhibition of the unique, inspiring and transformative art created by participants Art Activity Sessions held by the Friends of Broomfield Park for clients and carers of the Bourne Hill and Queen Anne's Care Homes and the local Mental Health Trust.


Friends' co-chair David March, who coordinates the twice-weekly sessions, said: "The groups are really excited about this second opportunity to exhibit their art after the fantastic exhibition last August. Like last year's, this year's event showcases the creativity of participants and celebrates the caring and supportive community which gives them an opportunity to express themselves. ... we are like a family"


The Exhibition will be staged until Sunday 31st August at the Southgate Club Art Gallery, Chase side, Southgate. N14 5PB. 

The entrance to the Southgate Club is in Chase Side Southgate (next door to the former police station) and the club opening times are:

  • Mondays - Thursdays 5.00pm - 11.00pm
  • Fridays: 3.00pm - 11.30pm
  • Saturday 12.00noon - 11.30pm
  • Sundays: 12.00noon - 8.00pm
