One hundred years of Music

Our beloved bandstand to be given a centenary makeover

Exciting news for Broomfield Park!

This year marks the centenary of our iconic bandstand, first built in 1926 – and there is no better time to invest in its future.

Work to restore the bandstand will be starting soon, supported by funding from the Council's 'Pride of Enfield' initiative.

From hosting live music like Broomfield Blues to playing a central role in events such as the Palmers Green Festival, it remains a vital hub for music, culture and community.

The renovation is planned to be completed in time for this year’s Broomfield Blues –  celebrating 100 years of the bandstand in style.
